The Project Academy is a training and development program in project management and project governance for project-intensive organizations

The primary target group consists of individuals involved in or collaborating on projects, including project managers, project owners, project team members, resource owners, and executive management.

Within the curriculum, there exists a dedicated module titled "Resources." This module encompasses a valuable collection of guidelines, templates, examples, and checklists that can be readily downloaded and employed in your projects.

All the e-learning modules provided by The Project Academy adhere to contemporary standards and are designed in accordance with the principles of micro-learning, ensuring optimal engagement and effective knowledge retention.

Rolling out the Project Academy

The Project Academy is commonly utilized by our clients in two main ways: as a comprehensive online training solution for their employees, or as a blended learning approach where the rollout is organized in groups consisting of 15 to 25 individuals.

For instance, one approach involves spreading the training workload over a span of 4 to 6 weeks. During this time, webinars or classroom sessions are conducted, specifically tailored to address crucial subjects in project management, such as business case development, planning, risk management, on-time delivery, stakeholder management, communication, and more. Prior to participating in these sessions, participants are required to complete the corresponding e-learning modules. Upon successfully finishing all five e-learning modules, participants are eligible to take the certification test and earn the prestigious "International Project Management Certificate."

Each e-learning module generally requires around 2 to 3 hours to complete, and if webinars are incorporated, they should ideally last no longer than 2 to 3 hours. Consequently, the total workload for the program amounts to approximately 20 to 25 hours.

Tailoring the Project Academy

We understand the importance of aligning the Project Academy with your specific requirements, and we are here to assist you in achieving that. Customization options are available, with the easiest approach being the tailoring of webinars and classroom sessions to address your unique needs.

Moreover, we offer the opportunity to develop a dedicated e-learning course module that focuses on projects and project management within your organization, such as "Project Management in Company X." This customized module can replace the existing "Project Model" course module within the Project Academy program.

To provide you with a better understanding of the tailoring possibilities, we would like to showcase some examples of our customization approaches. We have partnered with Cimple, a renowned organization specializing in the development of e-learning modules. Cimple can assist you in creating customized e-learning modules across various subjects, including HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), risk management, ethical guidelines, work processes, onboarding, and more. Their approach aligns with the same philosophy, models, and methods applied during the construction of the Project Academy. Including the Project Academy in your LMS

If you prefer to have complete control over the learning process, you have the option to integrate the Project Academy e-learning modules into your own xAPI/SCORM-compatible Learning Management System (LMS). This allows you to manage access, track progress, and generate reports. However, if desired, we can still provide support for delivering webinars or classroom sessions. These standards include "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" from the Project Management Institute (USA), "Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2" from Axelos (UK), and ISO 21500 "Guidance on Project Management." By incorporating these esteemed standards into our curriculum, we ensure that the Project Academy aligns with global best practices in project management.
